Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register with accurate asset details (cost, location, category, depreciation, and useful life).

• Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and write-offs in the accounting system.

• Ensure asset capitalization complies with company policies and accounting standards.

• Perform monthly depreciation and complete closing in the system.

• Prepare and post journal entries related to fixed asset transactions.

• Ensure depreciation schedules are accurate and properly maintained.

• Ensure maintain proper asset tagging and tracking for effective control.

• Perform monthly reconciliation between the fixed asset subledger and the general ledger, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

• Prepare fixed asset reports and schedules for month-end and year-end closing.

• Track capital expenditure (CAPEX) against approved budgets and monitor asset-related spending.

• Ensure SOP is created and up to date

• Support internal / external audit and tax related request

• Support ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by Corporate

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 3-4 years working experience in fixed assets job

• Able to work under minimum supervision & meet deadlines

• Able to effectively communicate with working partners in foreign countries

• Team player to lead projects / improvement process

• Experience with common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Oracle E—Business Suite preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
