Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder to join our team. This role involves both shop and field work, focusing on pipe fitting and structural fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fit-up and welding of carbon steel piping and structural assemblies
• Weld using MIG, Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) processes
• Layout, measure, cut, and assemble components to precise tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all welds meet project specifications and industry quality standards
• Maintain a safe work environment in both shop and field settings
• Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a fitter/welder
• Strong background in pipe fitting and structural steel fabrication
• Proficiency in MIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding processes
• Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate fit-ups independently
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
• Ability to pass a weld test and fit-up evaluation
