MacDonald Steel, founded in 1957, is a custom steel fabrication and machining plant. Our facility sits on 20 acres of land and the plant floor consists of 190 000 sq ft of fabrication space.
MacDonald Steel includes three divisions; Custom Fabricating, Environmental Systems Division and Specialty Products.
The custom fabrication side of our business manufactures products to our customers’ drawings and specifications. We manufacture parts weighing only a few pounds to items that require special permitting to ship due to size or weight. Our facility provides one stop shopping for our customers.
Environmental Systems division designs, manufactures, installs and services our own dust collectors (Shaker, Reverse Air, Pulse), Cyclones, Rotary Air Locks, Fans, Spark Systems and Bin Covers. Our 50 years of experience is leveraged to offer our customers an exceptional line of products to suit their application.
The Specialty Products division combines the disciplines of design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of brew-on-the premise systems and equipment. Our brew-on premise equipment packages are built to the highest standard in the industry.
MacDonald Steel personnel and welding procedures are certified to CSA W47.1 in the fusion welding of steel products. We have earned American Society for Mechanical Engineers Certification as well as Ontario Technical Standards and Safety Act certification in pressure vessel manufacturing and repairs.
