Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Assemble, fit and install structural and mechanical components to precise tolerances
• perform layout, cutting, and fabrication of materials as required
• Conduct inspections to ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations

Education and Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum o f5 years of relevant experience as a fitter or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
