MaxFitness is the medically integrated fitness program of MaxHealth Family, Internal & Sports Medicine, a brand of Elis Medical Corp. MaxFitness provides structured, assessment-based fitness and coaching programs designed to support members across varying fitness and wellness goals.

The Fitness Specialist & Brand Content Specialist is responsible for providing safe, professional, and engaging fitness coaching to MaxFitness members through private, semi-private, and small-group sessions. This position also supports MaxHealth's broader marketing efforts by participating in approved photo, video, and other brand content related to MaxFitness and designated MaxHealth service lines.

Fitness coaching and member service are the primary responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities

Fitness Coaching & Member Service:

• Conduct private, semi-private, and small-group training sessions in accordance with MaxFitness programming, safety standards, and coaching methodology.
• Provide appropriate instruction, demonstration, feedback, and modification of exercises based on established programming and individual member needs.
• Monitor members during training sessions and maintain an engaged coaching presence throughout scheduled sessions.
• Prepare, organize, and return equipment before and after training sessions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, professional, and member-focused training environment.
• Participate in required training, shadowing, meetings, and continuing education activities.
• Communicate professionally with members, coworkers, leadership, and other members of the MaxHealth team.
• Follow established policies, procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Brand & Content Support:

• Participate in approved photography, video, and other content supporting MaxFitness and designated MaxHealth service lines.
• Assist with creating educational, promotional, and brand-aligned fitness content as assigned.
• Coordinate with the marketing team and appropriate leadership regarding approved content, scheduling, and production needs.
• Represent MaxFitness and MaxHealth professionally and consistently with established brand standards.
• Protect patient/member privacy and comply with applicable company confidentiality and privacy requirements when participating in content creation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, exercise science, human sciences, or a related field or current nationally recognized personal training or strength and conditioning certification.
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of exercise technique, resistance training, and general fitness programming.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, member-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the MaxFitness and MaxHealth teams.
• Comfortable participating in approved photo and video content as an assigned function of the position.
• Ability to work scheduled early-morning, daytime, and/or evening training sessions based on program and member needs.

Compensation & Bonus Opportunities:

• $20–$25 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• Eligible for quarterly bonus pool based on team revenue and retention performance.
• Brand Asset Manager content opportunities: up to $200/month additional for approved content filmed in support of MaxHealth service lines (MaxFitness, Weight Management, HRT, DPC).

Environmental/Working Conditions:

• This is an on-site, in-person role at the Colleyville, Texas facility and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
• Specific schedule and session blocks will be coordinated with the Fitness/Program Manager based on facility and client needs.
• Requires the ability to demonstrate and coach a wide range of resistance-training movements, including free-weight and loaded-implement exercises (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Must be able to safely lift, carry up to 50lbs to set up training equipment as needed for programming; maintain an active coaching stance for the duration of sessions; and move freely throughout the training floor (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Conditions of Employment:

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
• Employment with MaxFitness / Elis Medical Corp is at-will. Either the employee or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, consistent with applicable law.

• This is a part-time position and is not eligible for medical, dental, vision, or paid time off (PTO) benefits.
