The Fitness Sales Associate position is responsible for attainment of personal sales quotas in a manner that fosters member retention. If you like variety throughout your work week, and not being chained to a desk, that's what you will get. You will meet and mingle members and guests inside the Center with activities such as: handing out guest passes, talking up Center activities and asking for referrals for lead generation, booking and confirming appointments by phone or internet, conducting center tours, presenting rates, asking for the sale, uncovering concerns and scheduling timely follow up with those who have not yet become a new member.During slower times of day you will become the face of the business out in the community and among local business owners/managers during regular check ins offering guest passes, generating retail and corporate referrals, participating in Company marketing initiatives and attending civic and business group networking activities to achieve required daily lead generation targets. You are a believer in fitness for life. Other's view you as honest and authentic with a natural ability to be a good listener who is like able and relates well with others. You have a keen sense of personal pride in exceeding goals. You have some previous experience in retail sales, ideally within the fitness, health and wellness industry. A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, Communication, Marketing or the equivalent, preferred not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, attention to details in verbal and written communications. How this job benefits YOU working part time
