Job Description

Catalina Area

Provide Personal Training to residents and guests in the community. Design personalized fitness programs according to specific fitness goals by the individual. Works one-on-one with each client. Maintain current certifications and attends in-service led by Fitness Director.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train clients one-on-one in the fitness center.
  • Provide orientation on equipment use, and basic fitness fundamentals. Demonstrate and coach members on proper use of cardiovascular and strength equipment. Promote safe techniques and form.
  • Work with activities director to determine special fitness programs.

Develops program for each client.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years previous experience in Fitness related industry.
  • Bachelor degree in Physical Fitness field or equivalent of 2-4 years of experience.
  • American Council in Exercise (ACE) current certification as a Personal Trainer (or another agency as approved)
  • CPR and AED Certified.
