About the role
The Fitness Instructoris responsible forprovidinga superior level of fitness instruction to Four Seasons members and guests.The Fitness Instructor willbe responsible forproviding assistance toguests in all aspects of fitness and well-being.This will include classes, specific training,inductionsand general gym monitoring.
What you will do:
Delivers high quality private and group fitness instruction that consistently meets and exceeds the member and guest expectations.
Handle all member and guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints,assistcustomers in all inquiries in connection with club and resort services.
Ability to develop and execute training plans that consistently meets and exceeds the member and guest health and wellness goals.
Provide personal trainer shift coverage as scheduled by the Director of Sports to satisfy member and guest demand and to maximize revenue.
Assistin the continuing effort tomaintainthe high quality of physical fitness facility by cleaning fitness equipment as scheduled by the Fitness Manager.
Complete all fitness instruction billingin accordance withFour Seasons accounting procedures and fitness department processes.
Actively promote personal training and fitness activities through frequent member and guest interaction.
What you will bring:
Minimum of 2years experiencein personal training industry at a similar club or resort.
College Degree – minimum of2-yearcollege
National Certification in Personal Training.
Creative yet sound approach to delivering fitness instruction
Understanding ofhigh-qualityfitness service experience
Requires the ability to multi-task on several items at once.
Working knowledge of computer systems, hotel operatingsystemsand experience with Microsoft Suite
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication inboth English and Spanish languagerequired
