Job Description

• Prepare BOQs and quotations
• Measure and calculate the cost of materials
• Prepare tender submissions and take-offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• Read and interpret plans for Contract administration
• Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of fit-out
  works
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project
• Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team, project engineer
  and client
• Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various
  contract types
• Determine required but non-indicated scope through the analysis of site
  conditions and all contract documents (plans specifications, etc.)
• Collaborate with operations team and other estimators to ensure that
• General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the
  estimate
• Assess subcontractor proposals to ascertain if the scope is covered and
  also manage the risk of scope gaps
• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects in a
  timely and efficient manner
  

Requirements:

• Holder of Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work
  experience
• Have at least 5-7 years of experience in estimation & costing with an
  Interior Fit Out company.
• Analytical and extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should
  there be changes in work priorities
• Ability to multitask based on the requirement at hand.
