Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging aqua aerobics classes that cater to various skill levels and fitness goals
Demonstrate proper techniques for water-based exercises, ensuring safety and effectiveness
Motivate participants through energetic instruction, positive reinforcement, and clear communication
Monitor participants’ form and provide modifications or adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Promote upcoming classes, programs, and membership packages to encourage community participation
Stay current with industry trends in water fitness, including program design innovations and new exercise techniques

Skills

Proven experience in group fitness instruction, especially aqua aerobics or water-based exercise programs
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and how they relate to water exercise benefits
Skilled in program design tailored to diverse populations, including seniors, athletes, or those with special needs
Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants of all ages and abilities
Knowledge of health club safety protocols and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
