Fish Processing Plant Worker

(Contract/Temporary Position)

The Role

As a Fish Processing Plant Worker, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cutting, cleaning, trimming, filleting, and scaling fish.
  • Inspecting fish fillets to determine the optimal number and size of portions.
  • Operating and maintaining machinery used to clean, cut, process, and package fresh fish products.
  • Following all safety and quality operating procedures.
  • Inspecting products and packaging to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
  • Ensuring all finished products meet established quality expectations.
  • Packing and wrapping fish products for shipment.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Working Conditions

  • This role requires standing for extended periods
  • Use of hand tools, including knives and tongs, is required

Additional Information

  • This position is offered on a temporary contract basis (anticipated duration: July to October 2026)
