Job Description

SUMMARY

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our financial operations. Responsible for performing a variety of routine accounting and clerical tasks related to financial recordkeeping, including processing transaction, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and payments
  • Prepare and process journal entries under supervision
  • Assist with budget tracking and expenditure monitoring
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding fiscal matters
  • Assist with audits by gathering and organizing required documentation
  • Perform general administrative duties related to finance and accounting
  • Assists with projects and performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Familiar with accounting software and systems
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to maximize performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong numerical aptitude and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • (1-2) years related experience
