The successful candidate will be energetic, creative, personable, and comfortable initiating conversations and developing relationships with individuals from a variety of backgrounds. The position requires a strong customer-service orientation, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with prospective students, families, high school personnel, and University colleagues.
The First-Year Enrollment Counselor must also demonstrate an appreciation for the value of a private liberal arts and sciences education and the ability to authentically communicate the distinctive opportunities available to students at Batten University.
Work Requirements
This position requires periodic travel within an assigned recruitment territory, including occasional overnight travel. Evening and weekend work is required at various times throughout the recruitment and enrollment cycle. The position may also require attendance at University recruitment events, open houses, admitted-student programs, and other enrollment-related activities outside of normal business hours.
Salary: Mid-$40,000s, commensurate with qualifications and experience
