As an External Regulatory Reporting Controller - Analyst within the Global Finance Regulatory Reporting Solutions team, you will play a key role in preparing and analyzing regulatory reports for the European Central Bank. You will work closely with business partners and technology teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your contributions will help us maintain our strong reputation and support the wider community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial information and produce AnaCredit Regulatory Reporting for the European Central Bank.
  • Conduct analytical reviews and variance analysis of regulatory reports.
  • Support the collection and integration of financial data sources into reporting infrastructure.
  • Review and reconcile trade and position level data against the general ledger for regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with business teams to process recurring and ad-hoc data adjustments.
  • Track, maintain, and archive issues and queries for audit purposes.
  • Support user inquiries and escalate technology issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to identify and resolve application issues.
  • Participate in project and change management activities for testing and implementation.
  • Support the development of regulatory reporting infrastructure and IT tools.
  • Analyze processes, drive automation initiatives and apply data visualization and analytics techniques.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Communicative English skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact independently with business partners.
  • College or university degree in Finance or a related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Passion for data analysis and accounting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting practices.
  • Practical expertise in programming (VBA, Python) or automation software (Alteryx, Xceptor, UiPath).
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and ETL data processes.
  • Experience working with data analytics, visualization techniques (Tableau), Agile project environments and Scrum methodology.

  • Sound judgment and integrity.
  • Strong team player and highly organized.
  • Flexible attitude with a “can-do” approach.
  • Background in MIS or regulatory reporting.
