We are seeking a talented and experienced Firmware Engineer to join our team, focusing on thermal solutions, cooling systems and cooling tower control. This role is crucial for developing and optimizing Firmware solutions that enhance the performance and efficiency of our cooling products. The successful candidate will work on advanced control algorithms, system integration, and Firmware development to ensure our cooling solutions meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Take full ownership of one cooling control product line, responsible for both firmware/software development and quality assurance.
  2. Develop and maintain control logic, communication protocols (Redfish, Modbus, etc.), and PID control tuning for the assigned product.
  3. Build internal proof-of-concept (PoC) code to reduce dependency on external vendors and mitigate vendor lock-in risks.
  4. Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks and regression testing processes for the product.
  5. Review and validate supplier firmware deliveries, including functional sampling and compatibility testing.
  6. Standardize technical documentation and maintain test reports for the assigned product line.
  7. Support field issue diagnosis, emergency hotfixes, and technical troubleshooting for the product.
  8. Participate in multi-platform architecture evaluation and contribute to next-generation product definitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development.
  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C and/or Python.
  • Experience in firmware testing, test automation, or supplier quality management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Redfish, SNMP, IPMI, or BMC communication protocols is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently own a product from development through quality validation.
  • Good command of English for technical communication with international suppliers and customers.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    Hands-on experience with liquid cooling systems, PID control, or sensor integration.
    Previous experience owning a complete product line (development + quality).
    Experience supporting global customers or managing international suppliers.
