Role: Firmware Engineer
Department: R&D / Engineering

We are looking for you to bring your firmware development experience, pro-active attitude and great communication skills to increase efficiency in sustaining engineering. You will be responsible for coordinating local development team related to design, implementation and testing of ARITECH security systems and accessories for EMEA market.
We seek a professional who has internal drive to execute projects in line with business goals without compromising team spirit.
As a Sustaining Engineer you will be:
• Developing FW changes for existing product range - Panels, Keypads, Touchscreens, Card Readers.
• Providing support to global project teams in technical, tooling and organizational terms.
• Encouraging collaboration between local and remote teams located in different time zones.
• Working hand in hand with team members on solving technical problems and designing new solutions.
• Participating in the full life cycle of firmware development (from specification and design through implementation, testing and production support).
• Working tightly with the members of the Product Management, Quality Assurance, Compliance and other groups.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Educated to Master of Science level in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Communication Systems from an accredited college or university
• Experience in C or C++ development on different embedded platforms.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodology.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Experience in working with a global team with multiple geographic locations is a plus

Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
