
Fire Prevention & Safety Officer
About the Position Incumbents are assigned responsibilities, involving the inspection of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards, enforcement of laws, rules and regulations and providing security at Griffin Memorial Hospital.
Typical work duties may include patrolling assigned premises to identify and correct fire hazards; providing assistance to employees or visitors; directing traffic; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Level I: No requisite education and experience are required for consideration.
Level II: Completion of a basic security and/or firefighter's course, and 2 years of experience in security or fire prevention and protection work

Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is an ODMHSAS treatment center serving all 77 counties in Oklahoma. We specialize in community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for individuals facing substance abuse, co-occurring mental health disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
