Qualification (minimum)
Completion of secondary school or equivalent is required or completion of a college or vocational course in fire protection technology
NFPA level 1 and 2 may be required or British equivalent
Must obtained emergency medical care training courses and certificates.
UAE Driving Licence ( Both Heavy & Light Vehicle Preferable).
Experience (minimum)
* 5 years of relevant experience as professional fire fighter. (Preferably in Airport, Port & Offshore)
* Preferable work experience in UAE
* Responsible to operate all safety equipment, when asked to attend incidents occurring from Oil, Toxic gas release, fires etc, responding to fire alarms quickly and fire rescue call on the site
* Maintain good operational condition of firefighting equipment, safety equipment and PPE, etc. Operate firefighting and rescuing equipment such as aerial ladders, axes, fire hoses etc
* By direction of Safety foreman/Chief fireman he has to attend the site with required vehicles and equipments. They have to arrange doctor, nurse and special fire brigade as per site situation by informing the safety foreman.
* Carry out firefighting and fire safety rescue activities in emergency period, daily safety patrol and heliport standby.
* Responsible to attend incidents as part of a mutual aid agreement or by pre-arrangement, and they have to maintain all firefighting equipments in good working condition
