As we continue growing in Texas, we are seeking motivated technicians to join our Houston team. This role is ideal for a technician with fire alarm and suppression experience who is looking for long-term career growth, strong leadership support, and opportunities to expand technical certifications.

Advantage Interests Inc., a division of Eagle Fire Inc., is seeking a Fire Alarm & Suppression Technician for the Houston, Texas market. This role will support inspection, service, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of commercial fire alarm and suppression systems throughout the regional service territory.

Candidates with industrial experience, suppression system knowledge, and strong field troubleshooting capabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, replace, inspect, and service fire alarm and suppression systems
  • Troubleshoot commercial fire alarm and suppression equipment
  • Perform service work at commercial and industrial customer locations
  • Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
  • Complete service reports and inspection documentation accurately
  • Maintain compliance with NFPA standards, manufacturer specifications, and local jurisdiction requirements
  • Travel throughout the assigned Houston-area service territory using a company vehicle
  • Support occasional industrial shutdown or scheduled Saturday morning service work
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–4 years of fire alarm service or installation experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm systems
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Texas Fire Alarm License OR NICET II with ability to obtain Texas SAL License

Preferred

  • Fire suppression system experience
  • Industrial facility/service experience
  • Fire extinguisher certifications
  • Security or low voltage experience
  • Additional suppression certifications

Work Environment & Travel

  • Frequent local travel throughout the Houston regional service territory
  • Approximately 75-mile coverage area
  • Industrial, commercial, and construction environments
  • Standard daytime schedule with occasional Saturday industrial work
