The Fire Alarm Service Technician is responsible for installing, programming, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing fire detection and signaling systems. This position requires strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of fire alarm or fire protection systems experience, and NICET Level II certification. Candidates who can obtain NICET Level II certification within the first 18 months of employment may also be considered. An equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and experience will be considered.
