We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of integrated life safety and low voltage projects from award through closeout. The ideal candidate has experience managing projects involving fire alarm, access control, CCTV, low voltage infrastructure, audio/visual systems, and integrated building technologies This individual will coordinate with customers, subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from contract award through project completion.
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, customer requirements, and company quality standards.
  • Lead customer meetings, project status updates, and progress reporting.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage projects involving:
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV / Video Surveillance
    • Structured Cabling & Low Voltage Infrastructure
    • Audio/Visual Systems
    • Integrated Security & Building Technologies
  • Monitor project financial performance, including labor productivity, material costs, and profitability.
  • Support business development by identifying change order opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within the fire protection, electronic security, low voltage, electrical, or systems integration industries.
  • Strong understanding of construction project management principles.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent commercial projects.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Preferred

  • Experience with:
    • Access Control Systems
    • CCTV / Video Surveillance
    • Low Voltage Systems
    • Audio/Visual Systems
    • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Experience working with commercial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and applicable building codes.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, ServiceTrade, AutoCAD, or similar construction management platforms.

Certifications (Preferred)

The following certifications are highly desirable but not required:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Security Industry Association Certified Security Project Manager (if applicable)
  • Certified Systems Engineering Technician (SET)
  • Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
  • NICET Certification (Fire Alarm or Special Hazards)
  • Manufacturer certifications (LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch, Axis, Honeywell, Software House, Milestone, etc.)
