We're now looking for a skilled Fire Alarm Installer to join our growing team and contribute to high-impact commercial projects.
This role involves the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and servicing of fire alarm systems, with a primary focus on networked fire alarm systems in commercial and government buildings. Candidates must have hands-on experience and a strong understanding of fire alarm system programming and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and program fire alarm, security, and access control systems
Perform service, repairs, and commissioning of fire alarm systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with panels, circuits, and field devices
Interpret blueprints and schematics for system layout and installation
Conduct testing and maintenance of alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance
Provide technical support and clear communication to clients
Organize resources efficiently to complete jobs accurately and on time
Qualifications:
Proven experience in installing and maintaining fire alarm systems
Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC)
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and building plans
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
