We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fircosoft Developer to join a dynamic technology team, within a key foreign bank organization. In this role, you will be a key technical expert responsible for the development, integration, and support of our mission-critical Fircosoft SAS environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the seamless integration of Firco Continuity with the bank payment hubs, IB systems, and data platforms to uphold robust, real-time transaction screening capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on experience with the Fircosoft suite and a proven track record in complex financial integration projects.

Your Role: Fircosoft Developer (SAS Integration Specialist)

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between theFircosoftSAS platform (primarily Firco Continuity) and internal systems such as payment processing engines (e.g., SWIFT, Fedwire), core banking applications, and customer databases.

  • Configure and customizeFircosoftcomponents to meet specific business and compliance rules for real-time payment and trade screening.

  • Develop andoptimizecustom utilities, scripts, and interfaces to extend platform functionality and automate manual processes;

  • Experience with Firco Trust (for real-time payment screening) and/or Firco Continuity (for customer screening and batch processing).

  • Knowledge of building/optimizing Firco Filter Sets and Rules.

  • Understanding ofglobal sanctions lists (OFAC, HM Treasury, UN) and PEP (Politically Exposed Person) screening.

  • Integration of Firco with payment channels (SWIFT, etc.) and core banking systems

Technical Configuration & Tuning:

  • Implement and fine-tunefuzzy matching algorithms, watchlist filters, and screening rules to maximize detection efficacy while minimizing false positives.

  • Manage the integration and normalization of various watchlist feeds (e.g., OFAC, UN, EU) within theFircosoftenvironment.

  • Configure andmaintaintheFircosoftCommand Center and other administrative tools.

Support & Lifecycle Management:

  • Provide Tier 3 technical support for theFircosoftSAS environment, investigating and resolving complex production issues related to screening alerts, message flow, and system performance.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to manage patches, upgrades, and the overall health of theon-premisesFircosoftecosystem.

  • Create andmaintaincomprehensive technical documentation for system architecture, integration designs, and operational procedures.

Collaboration & Compliance:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Risk, Operations, and IT, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Liaise with vendor partners (LexisNexis Risk Solutions) for advanced support, feature requests, and strategic product alignment.

  • Ensure all development and configuration work adheres to internal IT governance standards and external regulatory requirements (AML/KYC).

The Profile We’re Looking For: 5+ years of hands-on development and configuration experience withFircosoftproducts in a SAS (Software as a Service) oron-premiseenvironment.

  • Proven experience in integrating Firco Continuity with payment message formats (SWIFT MT, ISO 20022) and banking applications.

  • Java and/or J2EE for custom development and extensions.

  • SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server).

  • Unix/Linux shell scripting.

  • Web Services (SOAP/REST) and XML/JSON.

  • In-depth understanding of financial crime compliance concepts: Sanctions Screening, PEPs, AML, and KYC.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience working within a large global financial institution.

  • Familiarity with the LexisNexis Risk Solutions ecosystem and its integration points.

  • Knowledge of containerization and modern DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) is a plus.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) isadvantageous, even if the primaryFircosoftenvironment ison-premises
