Job Description

Tasks

  • Design and implement financial and cost models for software products and services to create transparency across the product portfolio
  • Establish reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor product costs, profitability, and financial performance
  • Support pricing strategies, business cases, and profitability analyses for customer-facing products and services
  • Drive FinOps practices and identify opportunities to optimize cloud, infrastructure, and operational costs
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to translate technical activities into business-relevant financial insights
  • Define governance frameworks, ownership models, and standards for product and service financial management
  • Enable data-driven decision-making regarding product investments, service operations, and portfolio growth

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or a comparable field
  • Experience in FinOps, IT Financial Management, Technology Business Management (TBM), Product Finance, or a similar area
  • Strong analytical skills and practical experience in financial modeling, costing methodologies, and reporting frameworks
  • Understanding of software development, cloud services, SaaS, and digital product environments
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translating complex topics into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of cloud cost management, FinOps principles, Agile, and DevOps methodologies is advantageous
  • Business fluent English skills; German is an advantage
