Job Description
JUST ONE, on behalf of a leading consulting firm specializing in Software Licensing and Cloud Management, is looking for a motivated and analytically sharp FinOps Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- FinOps advisory missions and review of cloud expenditures (in collaboration with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams)
- Recurring FinOps services (chargeback/showback, budget follow-up, creation of cost monitoring dashboards, anomaly detection, and optimization recommendations)
- Integration missions or operational maintenance of FinOps and cloud cost management platforms for customers
- Contribution to cloud transformation projects and “move to cloud” initiatives, ensuring cost governance and financial accountability
- Support in defining and implementing FinOps governance (processes, roles, and responsibilities across IT, Finance, and Business units)
- All these missions will be carried out with the support around you or in the back-office of rhe cloud and licensing expertise consultants.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with specialization in computer science, cloud/IT engineering, mathematics, data analysis, finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts (budgeting, forecasting, TCO, ROI) and ability to interpret cost and usage data.
- Strong data analysis and synthesis skills, particularly applied to cloud consumption and billing data.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex pricing models from cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP or others).
- Ability to be proactive and rigorous, with the desire to evolve and contribute to the development of a dynamic and fast-growing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Optional skills/nice to have:
- Proven professional experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, cloud governance, or cloud operations, preferably as a consultant.
- Previous experience on projects in the cloud sector (AWS, Azure, GCP), procurement, IT financial management, or IT managed services tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and cost tools (e.g. AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Trusted Advisor, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
- Experience with scripting/automation (e.g. Python, PowerShell, APIs) to industrialize cost reporting and optimization.
- Experience with tagging strategies, budgeting/alerting mechanisms, or chargeback/showback models.
- FinOps certification (e.g. FinOps Certified Practitioner) or cloud provider certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP) are strong assets.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Greek, French or another language is a plus.
