This role is four days onsite at our Seneca One Buffalo, NY location, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week
The FinOps Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial accountability, cost transparency, and operational efficiency across the Bank’s technology ecosystem. This position serves as a strategic partner to application owners, engineering teams, and Technology leaders, ensuring that cloud and technology investments are aligned with organizational goals and optimized throughout their lifecycle.
Minimum of 6 years combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience

Strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent software packages.
Excellent problem solving skills to assist in issue resolution.
Bachelor's degree
Subject matter expert in FinOps lifecycle: Inform, Optimize, and Operate
Advanced understanding of IT financial management strategies such as Showback vs Chargeback
Advanced knowledge of cost allocation models for shared services
Excellent understanding of the Bank’s application framework
Ability to work with application owners and educate on how to implement cost savings
Familiarity with application development software and cloud modernization platforms.
