
Required Background / Skills:
• Fluent Finnish speaker
• Fluent in English and preferably some understanding of German.
• Demonstrated expertise in plain language, readability, tone, and brand voice development, experience with technical or product copy and financial disclosures a plus.
• Experience in leading and coordinating a team.
• Hold an interest in cars.
• Moderate knowledge of vehicle technology and aftermarket processes.
• Experience with AI-assisted writing tools and language automation in a sales/retail context, including financial content workflows.
• Knowledge of Office package and JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce.
• Ability to relate to, and meet, sometimes short critical deadlines.
• Meticulous mindset.
• Good networking skills.

Tasks / Responsibilities :
• Proofread texts from EN/FI into Finnish.
• Translate texts from EN/FI into Finnish.
• Lead language quality assurance for multilingual dealer materials, retail point-of-sale copy, digital experiences, product documentation, and financial services disclosures.
• Strong editorial judgment with meticulous attention to detail and excellent command of grammar and style
• Act as SPOC in the local market when it comes to translations and proofreading.
• Work with central and local translation systems and -tools.
• Drafting stylistic requirements. If needed, re-create translated texts from EN/FI into Finnish to ensure correct language usage and tonality.
• Check technical/legal facts with specialists within the company.
• Review translations or samples of translations (in consultation with the specialized quality control departments)
• Central contact point within the sales company for translation errors and corrections (reviews and initiates necessary actions if required)

• Hours: 140 hours/month (estimated)
• Location: Finland – hybrid schedule working 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
