EJ has immediate openings for 3rd Shift (Sun Night-Wed Night 7pm-5am) Finishing Utility starting at $21.50 per hour with an additional $1.50 shift premium.

Location: Ardmore, OK

Finishing Utility performs a variety of manufacturing duties, including machine tending, drill press operation, hand grinding, material handling, and forklift operation. The position supports safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Machine Attendant: Load/unload parts, monitor machine cycles, change tooling/materials, inspect parts, and maintain production flow. Uses a computer to obtain and/or input information
• Drill Press Operation: Set up and operate drill presses, position parts, verify dimensions, and maintain tooling.
• Hand Grinding and Finishing: Grind, deburr, remove excess material, and inspect parts for quality standards.
• Use of power and/or hand tools that may include air grinder, overhead air hoist, chipping hammer, hammer, punch, and screwdriver
• Forklift Operation: Safely transport materials, load/unload equipment, perform inspections, and support production logistics.
• May aid in the training of others
• Quality and Safety: Follow PPE requirements, inspect products, report defects, maintain housekeeping, and comply with company policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
