Finishing Technician

�� Onsite | Mississauga

At Sonova, we are passionate about creating innovative hearing care solutions that improve lives around the world. We are currently seeking a Finishing Technician to join our Production team in Kitchener, Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. No prior industry experience is required — training will be provided.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare hearing instrument shells for final lacquering
  • Install final options and components on hearing instruments
  • Perform vent drilling and finishing work
  • Conduct final visual and acoustical inspections to ensure product quality
  • Complete basic seam and shell repairs as needed
  • Follow ISO quality standards and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and ESD standards
  • Support additional production tasks as assigned by management

What you bring

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions precisely
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to have

  • Previous hearing aid manufacturing experience
  • Experience with cutting, trimming, sanding, or lacquering custom hearing instruments
  • SAP knowledge
  • Experience reviewing customer order forms

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
