Position: Finishing Technician

Job Summary:
As a Finishing Technician at Star Services LLC, you will be responsible for completing finishing work on construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that all finishing work is completed to the highest standards, on time and within budget. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and finish drywall, including taping, sanding, and painting
- Install and finish flooring, including tile, hardwood, and carpet
- Install and finish cabinetry and trim work
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of finishing work
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the finishing process
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Finishing Technician in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of finishing materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
