Job Description

TITLE: SR. Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Accountable for directing, organizing, and processing of all to-be-finished material in a safe, efficient manner ensuring timely and accurate shipping schedules are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate’s degree in industrial /manufacturing engineering is preferred or a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership capacity.
• Knowledge in profile lamination and print is highly preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing machinery, lean manufacturing concepts and proficiency in the AS400 system and MS Office.
• Good organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise, train and coordinate the daily activities of the finishing staff.
• Monitor workflow to ensure production schedules, efficiencies and due dates are met.
• Oversee quality control measures to minimize defects, rework and material waste in the finishing process.
• Maintain a safe working environment by strictly enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
• Ability to drive certain material handling equipment.
