LOCATION: Baytown - Texas - USA

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Lead employees during their assigned shift, overseeing the operation of various production machines.
  • Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, assigning tasks, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Control and follow the production process, ensuring the accomplishment of production programs/schedule according to products’ specifications, customer needs, and Tenaris quality standards.
  • Control procedure compliance, alerting deviations from the policy, procedures, and specifications.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of procedures and work instructions.
  • Monitor process indicators (e.g., productivity, utilization, charge to thousand, interruptions, and/or rejections).
  • Optimize plant performance and promote compliance of inspection plans and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Report any incident or observation, perform inspections, and participate in investigations to comply with HSE procedures.
  • Implement preventive/corrective actions, as needed.
  • Stay updated on risk analysis and aspect assessment.
  • Comply with energy and other supplies consumption target/goals, carrying out the required actions that aim to reduce the use of them.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, ensuring adherence to all laws and regulations that apply to area of responsibility, while proactively motivating, coaching, communicating with, and developing staff and managing HR related activities with Human Resources norms and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of experience in a related occupation in the pipe manufacturing industry performing each of the following: inspections on manufacturing tubular products according to API 5L and 5CT specification; analyzing production and quality KPIs utilizing Power BI; developing and tracking action plans to correct deviations; and tracking product inventories and MRO in SAP.
