Finishing Operator Assistant| Monday - Friday

Position Overview

This position is Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm.

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for monitoring the tenter wing, plows on direct coater, and carpet width.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure the carpet and backing are pinning correctly on the tenter chain
• Monitor latex plows and puddle
• Trim carpet to correct width using the trim knives
• Monitor carpet width after trimming ensuring carpet is trimmed properly
• Keep work area clean

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, stoop, and climb steps
• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations
