Job Description

Immediate Opening for Cabinet Finisher!

The Finishers’ role within Tharp is driven and managed by a true quality metric. You will be exposed to multiple areas within the finishing department and develop a diverse skill set that will facilitate quality on time deliverable to your internal and Tharp’s external customers.

Wage range: $17 - $22/hr

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Specific functions as directed by the supervisor to facilitate training and effective output.
  • Engage with Team and Technical Advisors to insure Safe and correct methods are used to facilitate requested output.
  • Maintain a safe and quality based effort for any products that are processed.
  • Develop skills and proficiency at assigned tasks.
  • Clean up work area each day in accordance with plant safety and house cleaning standards.
  • Process work in a timely, quality focused manner.
  • Display a basic understanding of the information contained in the Tharp cut sheets and prints
  • Attention to detail
  • Display a baseline of understanding of the Tharp Quality requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Other duties as required.

Equipment: Spray gun, pump systems, pressure pots and mil gauge. Anything else as may be required; **Proper training is required prior to use.

Physical Activities and Safety:

75% standing, 15% walking - Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must strictly adhere to company safety policy, including: wearing safety glasses and air filtration masks and suits where required.
