The Wood Finisher plays a crucial role in bringing our custom products to life. This role is responsible for applying high-quality stains, topcoats, and paints to impart a rich luster and flawless final appearance to every order.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and job instruction documents.
• Visually scan each piece, identifying and addressing any sanding issues, defects, or scratches.
• Apply stain and lacquer to wood furniture according to specifications.
• Compare the product against the sample, ensuring a flawless color match.
• Safely stack or load product, organized by job, to minimize the risk of damage.
• Move product to the designated drying area, allowing ample time for a complete cure.
• Diligently inspect each finished piece, ensuring that all standards for exceptional quality are met.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced custom wood, cabinet, or architectural millwork finishing shop.
• Prior background as a furniture finisher, spray technician, or industrial wood finisher with familiarity in stain matching, lacquer mixing, and topcoat application.
• High manual dexterity and precision craftsmanship.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality control.
