The Opportunity

This position is located in Tlalpan, Mexico City, within the Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD).

As a Finished Product & Stability Analyst Chemist, you will have the opportunity to evaluate physicochemical conditions through the analysis of finished product samples, special samples, stability study samples, and project-related samples. You will perform analytical method verification, validation, co-validation, and Test Method Transfers (TMTs), in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), analytical methods, procedures, and current policies to generate accurate and reliable data for product quality evaluation.

What You'll Do

• Receive and perform analyses of in-process products, locally manufactured and imported finished products, long-term stability samples, accelerated stability samples, and special analyses.
• Prepare analytical solutions used for testing and execute analytical method validations, co-validations, verifications, and transfers.
• Report analytical results obtained from testing activities in accordance with established procedures and current GMP requirements.
• Prepare and/or issue protocols and reports related to method validation, method verification, and analytical method transfers (Test Method Transfer).
• Complete self-training on updates to operating procedures and manuals.
• Conduct laboratory investigations and prepare Laboratory Investigation Reports (LIRs) and Exception Reports (ERs).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist (QFB)
• Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemist (QFI)
• Related scientific disciplines
• Degree completed and professional license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Analyst Chemist in:
• Physicochemical Quality Control
• Finished Product Testing
• Stability Studies
• HPLC Analysis
• Dissolution Testing
• Advanced technical English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in Quality Control, including finished product and stability testing.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, laboratory equipment, and analytical laboratory software.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Availability to work:
• Tuesday through Saturday (1:30 PM - 9:30 PM), or
• Wednesday through Sunday (1:30 PM - 9:30 PM)

TEMPORARY 6-MONTH PROJECT

Preferred Qualifications

• Analytical method development.

• Knowledge and use of national and international medical and pharmaceutical literature.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
