Finished Maintenance SupervisorProvides mechanical and technical support for manufacturing equipment and technology.Monitors and resolves mechanical and equipment problems on the production line. Escalates in line with established guidelines.Provides technical support for new equipment installation. Performs maintenance and parts replacement.Coordinates with purchasing and vendors on acquisition and disposal of equipment.Logs and documents production problems. Identifies and reports potential problem areas.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
* Develop, implement, and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all finished goods machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
* Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment and ensure timely and effective repairs.
* Coordinate with production and quality control departments to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure seamless operations.
* Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and budget for maintenance operations.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, IATF).
* Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for work order tracking, historical data analysis, and reporting.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
* Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or modifications to existing machinery.
* Prepare detailed reports on maintenance performance, equipment breakdowns, and cost analysis.
Required Skills and Education
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (PLC, VFDs, motor controls), mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems), and automation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
