Position Type: SeasonalTHIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2025 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER)
Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Fine Dining Restaurant Server. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay (including excellent tips), housing and meals, and other perks. The ideal applicant will have previous experience in food and beverage service, possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Fine Dining Restaurant Server, you will fill a key role with an industry-recognized leader in hospitality services. This individual will follow established service processes to provide exceptional service to Mission Point Resort guests in our food & beverage outlets and banquet events.
QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in restaurant service is helpful
- Working knowledge of F&B POS Systems
- Working knowledge of Restaurant Service processes and procedures
- 2 years experience and familiarity with fine dining etiquette service standards
- Familiarity with both Prix Fixe and Ala Carte service styles preferred
- Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
