GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ:

• Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Fall 2026 Semester (10/12/2026 - 11/01/2026)
• This class will meet Monday through Thursday from 3pm - 7pm

Course: Finding Success in the Construction Trades

This course is designed to provide students with essential skills and knowledge for achieving success in the construction trades. The focus is on effective communication, teamwork and professional collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving to establish a solid foundation for personal and professional growth in the field of their choice. This course is for students seeking to enhance their adaptability and readiness for success in any career path.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Bachelor's in Engineering or related field or a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in the construction industry. Candidates with exceptional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the stated requirements, as determined by the Assistant Dean.
