Job Description

Equifax is looking for an entry-level Financial Viability Analyst to join our team in Brisbane, In this critical role you will help our customers make confident decisions by processing and analyzing financial statement data. You will provide essential, evidence-based assessment reports and recommendations regarding organizations tendering for a range of contracts. What you’ll do

  • Use your accounting knowledge and data management skills to process financial statement data accurately.

  • Analyse financial statements to provide recommendations and prepare evidence-based assessment reports for customers.

  • Assess counterparty risks within Equifax’s established risk framework to arrive at assessment outcomes.

  • Utilize financial literacy and numeracy skills to identify key issues and insights in financial reporting.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.

  • Build rapport with external senior stakeholders in the Government and Private sectors to obtain required financial information.

  • Manage assessment scope and address additional queries from stakeholders regarding financial requirements.

  • Meet specific deadlines and performance targets through effective time management and prioritization.

  • Demonstrate multitasking abilities to handle varied workloads in a fast-paced environment.

  • Keep abreast of industry developments, macro-economic environments, and market challenges to inform your analysis.

What experience you need

  • Degree qualifications in Business, Accounting, or Finance.

  • Commercial experience in accounting and financial statement analysis.

  • Experience in financial and/or credit analysis.

  • Proven ability to meet specific performance targets and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated experience managing work priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What could set you apart

  • Strong report writing and presentation skills essential for high-level stakeholder reporting.

  • Advanced stakeholder management skills with experience dealing with senior Government or Private sector officials.

  • Deep understanding of business drivers and dynamics across a diverse range of markets.
