Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Financial Tracking & Reporting Analyst to work in our Fairfax, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

Everforth ECS is looking for a Financial Tracking & Reporting Analyst to support the Technology Acquisition Management (TAM) group of the US Postal Service's Engineering Systems office in Merrifield, VA. This role conducts research and delivers accurate financial reporting, budgeting support, and data‑driven insights. The role combines traditional financial analysis with modern data visualization and automation tools to improve transparency, forecasting accuracy, and decision‑making across TAM programs and initiatives.

This position requires the ability to work four days per week, onsite, at USPS location in Merrifield, VA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variances, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Support TAM budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning activities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Automate recurring reports and maintain financial data tables and reporting models.
  • Develop on‑demand, drill‑down reporting modules for TAM leadership.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy of financial outputs.
  • Support financial deep‑dive reviews and executive‑level presentations.
  • Provide financial guidance and communicate insights to program teams.

Note: Candidates must be able to obtain a USPS Public Trust Clearance. This requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card), and the ability to pass a stringent background check.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
  • Proficiency with Power BI/Tableau and advanced Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, formulas).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
