General Summary: The Financial Systems Manager oversees the organization’s financial systems and ensures accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations. This role manages system configuration, maintains the chart of accounts, develops financial reports and dashboards, supports budget creation and consolidation, coordinates audit data requests, and provides technical and analytical support to the Finance team. The position also leads the organization’s ERP conversion and ongoing system improvements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Systems Administration
• Manage configuration, maintenance, user access, and internal controls for all financial systems.
• Serve as the primary liaison with IT and external vendors for troubleshooting, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies.
Chart of Accounts & Data Governance
• Maintain and update the chart of accounts to support organizational structure, reporting needs, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure consistent coding, mapping, and data standards across all financial modules.
• Document and enforce COA governance processes.
Reporting, Dashboards & Analytics
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for leadership and operational teams.
• Validate and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Provide analytical support to Finance leadership and cross functional partners.
Budget Creation & Consolidation
• Support the annual budgeting process by building system templates, managing data inputs, and consolidating departmental submissions.
• Ensure budget structures align with the chart of accounts and reporting requirements.
• Assist Finance leadership with variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting.
Audit Support
• Coordinate system-generated audit requests, including data pulls, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Ensure financial system controls and configurations support audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation of system processes, workflows, and internal controls.
Finance Team Support
• Provide technical and analytical support to Accounting, FP&A, and program teams.
• Train users on system functionality, reporting tools, and new processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve financial processes through automation and system enhancements.
ERP Implementation & System Projects
• Lead the ERP conversion project, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, training, and go live support.
• Coordinate cross departmental participation to ensure successful migration of data and processes.
• Develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials to support long term system adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial systems management, accounting operations, or ERP administration.
• Experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as Great Plains, Workday, NetSuite, Dynamics, Oracle, or similar.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ERP native reporting tools).
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to support users at all levels.
• Experience leading an ERP implementation or major system upgrade.
• Advanced Excel and data modeling skills.
• Experience developing SOPs and training materials.

REGULATORY:
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• DPS Level I fingerprint clearance if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
• CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
• Current, valid Arizona Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirements, if required.
