Job Description

General Summary

The Financial Systems Data Intelligence Lead is responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of the Oracle FAIDP platform across the WellSpan enterprise. This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and integrity of analytics and reporting solutions that support Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions. The administrator partners with functional and technical teams to enable data-driven decision-making through reliable and scalable reporting and dashboarding solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence environments, including configuration, monitoring, and support
  • Uses in depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud and associated reporting tools like OTBI and BIP in conjunction with FAIDP components like OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud) and Oracle ADW (Analytics Data Warehouse) to support the design, development, testing and deployment of functional business intelligence requirements
  • Using knowledge of data schema in Oracle Fusion and Oracle ADW, provides expert-level support in SQL query development and troubleshooting to meet complex data needs.
  • Leverages Oracle FAIDP’s embedded machine learning and generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities to improve and expedite predictive and analytical capabilities across the Oracle platform’s functional span of HCM, Finance and SCM.
  • Assists the security team with management of user access, roles, and security in alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements
  • Oversee data integration processes, including data loads, validation, and synchronization across HCM, Finance, and SCM domains
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, data, and reporting issues in a timely manner
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical solutions
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Coordinate system updates, patches, and enhancements with internal teams and external vendors
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across all supported functional areas
  • Maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user guides
  • Leads training and mentorship for team members and functional end users, enhancing the organization’s business and analytics capabilities.
  • Act as a liaison between functional teams (HCM, Finance, SCM) and IT for analytics-related initiatives

Essential Functions:

  • Perform day-to-day administration of the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence platform
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and data availability for business-critical reporting
  • Execute and monitor data refresh cycles and integration workflows
  • Enforce data security, access controls, and compliance standards
  • Analyze and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues
  • Support cross-functional reporting needs spanning HCM, Finance, and SCM
  • Enable and support self-service analytics while maintaining governance controls
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Associates Degree Required
  • Bachelors Degree In Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or Information Technology. Preferred

Work Experience:

  • 7 years experience working with complex data structures within business systems providing analytic and visual content to support business objects. Required
  • 5 years’ experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies to include Oracle FDI / FAIDP, ADW, and OAC. Strongly Preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably in a Health System. Preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess strong public speaking skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data domains including clinical, financial, and operational datasets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and enterprise data standards
  • Advanced analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline and reporting issues
  • High level of proficiency in interpreting and optimizing OAC and FDI / FAIDP semantic models and subject areas
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams spanning HCM, Finance, SCM and IT domains
  • Oracle Cloud Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Implementation Professional. Preferred.
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud Professional. Preferred.
