Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Systems Administration & Support

  • Administer and maintain Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and FDMEE (Data Management), ensuring system performance, stability, and reliability.
  • Provide day-to-day support for the Hyperion HFM corporate consolidation system, including metadata maintenance, reporting, journal entries, and financial adjustments.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Troubleshoot system, data, and reporting issues while maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Provide end-user support and resolve issues related to Hyperion applications and reporting tools.

Oracle EPM Conversion & Data Validation

  • Support the migration and conversion of Hyperion HFM to Oracle EPM.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness during the conversion process.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to manage data integration between Hyperion systems and other financial platforms.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies and system issues during implementation and ongoing operations.

Reporting & Financial Analysis

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports using Hyperion SmartView, Oracle EPM, and other reporting tools.
  • Create and maintain cash flow roll-forward schedules, including data entry, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support management reporting and financial analysis to assist business decision-making.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement automation and streamline financial processes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
  • Assist with establishing best practices for financial systems governance and reporting standards.

User Training & Collaboration

  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on Hyperion applications, SmartView reporting, and financial systems processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and external consultants to support system initiatives and reporting requirements.
  • Serve as a key resource for financial systems knowledge and troubleshooting.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Hyperion HFM and/or Oracle EPM.
  • Experience with FDMEE (Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition/Data Management).
  • Solid understanding of consolidation accounting and financial reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Hyperion SmartView.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer support skills.

Skills

  • Experience supporting financial system implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
  • Knowledge of enterprise financial close and consolidation processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise financial reporting platforms.
  • Experience developing process documentation and conducting user training sessions.

Working Conditions

  • This is a temporary position expected to last 3 to 6 months
