
Financial Systems Analyst
A growing organization is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support both treasury operations and financial technology initiatives. This hybrid role combines treasury and cash management responsibilities with the development of internal tools and automation solutions that improve financial processes and operational efficiency. Working closely with finance leadership, this individual will help optimize daily treasury activities while leveraging technology to streamline reporting and enhance workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts, reconcile bank activity, process cash applications, and assist with liquidity reporting and financial analysis.
Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, and recurring financial reports that support treasury operations and business decision-making.
Design, build, and support internal applications, automation tools, and utilities that improve finance and operational workflows.
Translate business requirements into software solutions by developing user interfaces, application logic, and data processing functionality.
Maintain and enhance existing financial systems while providing documentation, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen reporting accuracy across finance functions.
Partner with finance, operations, and technology teams to support system implementations, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
Research emerging technologies, AI tools, and financial systems, providing recommendations that improve productivity, scalability, and overall business operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, finance operations, cash management, financial analysis, or a similar role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience building financial models, reports, PivotTables, and complex formulas.
Experience developing or supporting internal applications, automation tools, scripts, or web-based solutions using technologies such as Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
