Advisor, Product Data
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to support our Hardware Platform Solutions - Product and Marketing team. The successful candidate will assist with data collection and dashboard creation to help drive business decisions, product strategy, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and analyze and interpret data from multiple systems and databases.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to performance, revenue, profitability, pricing and market trends.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
Develop financial dashboards including revenue tracking, profitability reporting, inventory and forecasting
Support product managers with product portfolio analyses, pricing strategies, demand forecasting and business case development.
Create and maintain Microsoft and Google-based tools, reports, and models using Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
Assist in preparing business reviews, presentations, and management reports.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Marketing.
Initiate process and data flow optimization, and drive change management toward continuous improvement and leveraging AI and new systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in data analysis, financial analyses, business analytics or reporting.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation and analyses.
Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google sheets skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH data validation, and financial modeling.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Understanding of revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, ROI and financial performing metrics.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, or CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce, or business intelligence systems.
Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable business recommendations.
Familiarity with pricing analyses and market intelligence.
