Job Description

The Financial Support Expert is responsible for supporting clients with complex questions and issues related to WellSky's financial solutions. The scope of this job includes providing crucial support and expert knowledge to our clients through the utilization of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all financial applications and resolve client needs via phone, Zoom, or email.
  • Host financial management solution training sessions to enable client success.
  • Create and maintain financial reporting training materials.
  • Escalate unresolved issues through appropriate processes.
  • Work collaboratively with solution and engineering teams to identify, document, test, and resolve client-facing issues.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 4-6 years relevant work experience
  • Experience supporting financial operations, billing workflows, or financial software solutions
  • Working knowledge of at least one of the following financial functions: Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), or Payroll (PR)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex financial discrepancies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Long-Term Care (LTC) or nursing home financial operations
  • Previous software support, technical support, or client-facing application support experience
  • Familiarity with ticketing or case management systems such as Salesforce or ServiceNow
  • Experience auditing financial discrepancies, month-end close processes, or billing reconciliations

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
