Team Overview:
The Financial Service Strategy and Business Analytics team focuses on strategic research and commercial analysis across global fintech and lending markets, covering areas such as consumer lending, merchant financing, payments, unit economics, competitive landscape analysis, and growth strategy across emerging markets.
Responsibilities
1. Industry Research & Strategic Analysis: Continuously track fintech and lending market developments across Southeast Asia and Latin America, including consumer lending and merchant financing. Analyze the product strategies, business models, and operating dynamics of leading regional and global players to identify strategic risks, market opportunities, and growth potential.
2. Mid-to-Long-Term Strategy Planning: Support the development of 3–5 year strategic roadmaps for consumer and merchant lending products across SEA and LATAM. Define country and product priorities, develop user and merchant penetration strategies, and build localized partnership ecosystems including issuers, acquirers, payment partners, and funding institutions to support sustainable business expansion.
3. Strategic Support & Business Growth: Act as a strategic partner to the Payments and Financial Services organization, working closely with Product, Risk, Funding, and E-commerce teams to identify key growth drivers across both user and merchant ecosystems. Combine strategic thinking with data-driven analysis to uncover core business insights and support KPI growth.
4. Problem Solving & Execution: Proactively identify critical business challenges, lead strategic deep-dives and cross-functional discussions, develop actionable solutions, and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient execution and business impact.
