The Purpose of Your Role
The Fidelity Investments Ireland Internship Programme is intended to give students a meaningful and rewarding placement within the Operations & Corporate Shared Services organisation at Fidelity. Students will gain exposure to Financial Service Operations through a placement working within a specific business unit, while also participating in personal and professional development training designed specifically for interns.
Internships begin in early September 2026 and run through to mid-August 2027.

The Value You Deliver
Exhibiting high attention to detail and quality in a wider variety of operational disciplines
Be able to recognise trends and participate in root cause analysis
Assist in addressing and identifying proactive data issues before there is a customer issue
Managing and reviewing documented exception lists to ensure client-specific needs are met
Participating in various projects and process improvement initiatives focused on improving the existing workflow, quality, efficiency and policy & procedure
Recommending methods to ensure consistency and streamlining of procedure
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
How Your Work Impacts the Organisation
The Operations & Corporate Shared Services organisation provides operational support and expertise for a variety of Fidelity business units and partners. These include diverse areas such as Data Management, Middle Office Support and Brokerage Operations. The successful candidate will gain exposure to operational disciplines such as Corporate Actions, Trade Settlements, Security Reference Data, Cost Basis Accounting, Tax, Corporate Finance, amongst other.
