Team Overview
Dynamics of the Role
You want to talk about big data? At TransUnion, we have data on virtually every active credit consumer in the United States (and data on millions of consumers in 30+ other countries as well). But “having data” means nothing without curious analytical minds to unlock the meaning within it. Our efforts drive real value, because the work that we do allows people to have access to credit, enables new generations to pursue an education, and builds economies from the ground up.
We are looking for a bright, inquisitive Business Analyst to join a world-class group of industry experts and data scientists to extract insights from information and put them to good use. This [newly created] position is responsible for gathering, analyzing and delivering market-level business intelligence to support the development and implementation of our U.S. Financial Services vertical business strategy and operating plan. To be successful in this position, you must have a strong analytic aptitude, proven capability to generate charts and dashboards, strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively.
The Team’s Focus
Beyond the traditional business of furnishing credit reports to lenders, TransUnion provides financial institutions in both mature and emerging markets with data and solutions to enhance and support their customer relationships. We have a large, diverse client base ranging from national banks and credit unions to small, independent lenders. We offer a broad array of solutions customized to each aspect of our clients’ business including credit risk management, digital marketing, fraud and ID management, and collections and recovery.
At TransUnion, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring innovative ideas and solutions to market, leveraging our extensive experience in credit data and analytics. The U.S. Financial Services vertical has a dynamic blend of experiences in financial services and credit risk management. As our team grows, we are looking for innovative and diverse talent to help us develop deep customer and market expertise to inform solution development and accelerate our growth.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
